Seele followed Oleg around the sights of Belobog, eating delicious foods and dressing up in splendid clothes beyond her wildest imagination. Oleg hid Seele in his supply bag one day and took her up to the Overworld by cable car to give her a peek at the city she yearned for. That was after she'd met Oleg - who at the time was still captain of the Underworld's Silvermane Guards. Through the window of the clinic, she saw that wizened figure at death's door, lying on a stretcher.Įver since then, she's always left a little water in the bucket for the people coming later.Īs a child, Seele only ever went up to the Overworld once. Another shriveled homeless man was also there trying to get a drink - and after a power struggle which involved fists and even teeth, the man fled and Seele earned the right to slake her thirst alone. She arrived at the orphanage to discover the bucket containing water from the well is almost empty. One hot evening, she felt very thirsty from too much playing. Everyone in the dark side of Rivet Town knew that fearless homeless girl, and everyone was keen to avoid this wild, stubborn little rascal. When she was hungry, she'd swap scraps she found with the merchants for biscuits. When she was thirsty, she'd beg for water at the orphanage. Seele's first fight in her life was for herself.īack then, she would wander aimlessly through the alleyways each day. The world Seele grew up knowing was just a simple dichotomy. The protectors and the protected, the oppressors and the oppressed. A spirited and valiant member of Wildfire who grew up in the perilous Underworld of Belobog.
